27/07/2010 - Northern Ireland International Programme Opens for 2010

The Lloyds TSB Foundation’s International Programme for Northern Irish charities working with disadvantaged communities overseas is open for applications.

Applications are welcomed that:

• Promote volunteering schemes to focusing on the development of skills to disadvantaged communities overseas.
• Encourage local social economy in overseas communities particularly focusing on social enterprise and entrepreneurism.
• Build the capacity of civil society representative bodies overseas, working to achieve basic social and economic rights.

There are two funding strands available, small grants of up to £5,000 and large grants of up to £20,000.

Eligible applicants must be registered charities based in Northern Ireland.
